What is Tebiles?

Tebiles is a platform designed for students of TEB Technikum Wrocław. It provides features to upload files, share them, and access a page where files can be uploaded to an account or downloaded without logging in.

The idea behind Tebiles is to reduce reliance on flash drives during computer classes and minimize the need to log into personal accounts on shared computers.

Getting Started

  1. Go to the home page.
  2. Click the Login button in the header.
  3. To register, click the Sign Up link in the form.
  4. Sign up by filling out the form (your username can be changed later; your email is used for contact).
  5. If bot verification fails on mobile, disable desktop mode in your browser. For other issues, refer to this guide.
  6. After creating an account, log in.

Uploading a File

  1. Click on your avatar in the header.
  2. Select the Drop Link option.
  3. In the Upload File form, upload a file, provide a title, and submit the form.

Managing Files

  1. Click on your avatar in the header.
  2. Go to the Dashboard.
  3. In the Your Files section, you can:
    • Edit file titles.
    • Toggle anonymity (files marked as visible for all will show the author unless anonymity is enabled).
    • Set file visibility options: visible only for you, visible in drop link, or visible for all.
    • Download files directly from the dashboard.
    • Delete files by checking the Delete? checkbox and clicking Save (only one file can be updated at a time).

Managing Your Account

  1. Click on your avatar in the header.
  2. Go to the Dashboard.
  3. In the Account Settings section, you can:
    • Change your avatar by providing a link to an image.
    • Update your username.
    • Set a custom Drop Link or generate one automatically.

Where are my files stored?

All files are stored in S3 AWS Storage. However, it is highly recommended to keep additional backups of your important files.
